My name is Jamie Chatman, and I am from Nashville, Tennessee. I recently graduated from Spelman College in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics. I will be entering into the Ph.D. program in statistics at Rice University in the fall of 2003. I am very interested in the applications of statistics to uncover racial disparities across different disciplines and research fields. My hobbies include photography and going to the ballet.
