Josue C. Noyola-Martinez is a graduate student in the statistics department at Rice University. He was born in Managua, Nicaragua and has resided in the United States since 1987. He received his bachelor of science in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin, and his master of science in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
