Short Biography:

I was born and raised in a suburb of New York City with 2 brothers (twins, 1 year younger) and a sister (5 years younger).  I attended the State University of New York – College at Geneseo, where I obtained a BA in mathematics and psychology along with a minor in physics.  After college I worked as an actuarial analysts for about 5 years and earned my MA in applied mathematics during that time at Hunter College.  I am now a 2nd-year PhD student in statistics at Rice University with interests in the areas of regression analysis, multivariate analysis, nonparametric testing and density estimation, visualization, and environmental statistics.
