If you have a laptop, you can either apply for a static IP address (if your office has a free network port or you can bring in a router or ethernet hub) or make use the wireless network. Some new models of laptops have build-in wireless card. If your laptop does not have one, you can buy a PCMICA wireless network card under $50.
