I graduated from Spelman College in May 2003, with a B.S. in Mathematics. I completed my Ph.D. in Statistics from the Department of Statistics at Rice University in Houston, TX in September 2008. I completed a Kellogg Health Postdoctoral Fellowship working in the Center for Minority Health at the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health. While at the University of Pittsburgh, I completed a Masters Degree in Public Health (M.P.H.) in June 2010.
