Hola, mi nombre es Jaime J. Ramos. I am studding Applied Mathematics at the University of Texas at El Paso with minor in Physics. I am interested in Optimization, Number Theory, and lately Statistics. The best thing I have gained from RUSIS06, this summer, is experience for my graduate/researcher life. I had spent this summer working in a project concerning Linkage Analysis. Under the advice of Dr. Javier Rojo, I have increased my interest on statistics and learned how mathematics can be related to very interesting topics. I am a film- and photo-lover; dancing and writing just the best ways to express ourselves.
