My name is Imelda Rosas. I come from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. I will be graduating May 07 with a degree in Applied Mathematics. I plan to apply for the Ph.D program in Biostatistics at The University of Texas Health Center in Houston, and other Ph.D programs around the Houston area. I believe that the concept of applying statistics in the medical field is very interesting and rewarding. I hope to one day be able to make a contribution in finding a cure for cancer and many other diseases. I know that it will be a long road but the challenge makes it even more appealing.
