My name is Victor Arzola and I attend El Paso Community College.  My major is
mathematics with some interest in Cryptography.  This summer in RUSIS is providing me
the opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds and explore the different
mathematical fields like statistics and how they are used in the real world. Also this
program is giving me an insight of what it takes to acquire a PhD and the research it
involves.  My hobbies are anything that involves outdoor activities, handball. and poker.
