I'm a sophomore a Macalester College majoring in applied mathematics & statistics and economics and minoring in Arabic. I like studying random processes and dynamic systems, especially within the context of economics and finance. At Macalester, I'm a member of the Macalester Investment Group, secretary for Women in Economics, captain of the Macalester Policy Debate team, a board member on the Macalester Student Endowment Responsibility Committee, a volunteer with Opportunities Abound (a group aimed at improving college accessibility for potential first-generation college students. I plan on pursuing a PhD in operations research, economics, or statistics. In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar and piano, knitting, and baking.
