My name is Kourtney Howell and I am a senior at Xavier University of Louisiana. I am studying mathematics with concentrations in statistics and computer science. This summer at RUSIS I experienced the work that graduate school requires. I also was introduced to many ways that statistics can be applicable in the real world. I was fortunate enough to work with a great group of students this summer. Next year I would like to be in graduate school studying biostatistics. My hobbies include tennis and anything that keeps me active.
