I have always been considered a small town girl since I was born in Dodge City, Kansas and raised in Burlington, Colorado since I was four.  My family has always lived on a farm so I have been a 4-H member for ten years and an FFA member for three years.  I have many pets and most of them are animals that have been left on their own.  In my free time I love to watch movies, theater performances, read, and play games with my friends.  I am also a huge sports fan especially when it comes to football.  This year I will be writing my honors thesis on the quarterback passer rating system and I will be trying to create a new system.  I have always enjoyed mathematics and I love to work with many types of puzzles.  RUSIS was my first research experience and I hope to continue doing research as I am preparing to go into graduate school.
