Matthew Pragel University of Buffalo

I am a Senior at the State University of New York at Buffalo studying mathematics and chemistry. In addition to the Rice University Summer Institute of Statistics, I have also researched computational techniques for the Igusa local zeta function at the Mount Holyoke College summer 2005 REU program. I plan to pursue a graduate education next year in pure mathematics. In my spare time, I can be found "tooting my own horn" for the University at Buffalo Marching and Pep bands.
