Multiplicity and subgroup analysis Juliet P. Shaffer University of California Department of Statistics Abstract At the July 2006 SAMSI workshop, one of the three subtopics was subgroup analysis: effects in subgroups and differences among them when they are defined in various ways. All such analyses involve challenging multiplicity issues. How should they be carried out and how should results be reported? The talk will discuss some of the types of analyses that may be/have been carried out, and recommendations for reporting conclusions based on such analyses. |
