I missed John's first time to baptise a fellow believer. I was SO proud of him. Turns out that beside his minister capabilities and his much more talented biological mind than his mother's, he is also a tile wizard (he has done the tile insets at the farm). It's GOOD to have strong sons!

John is now a full time employee at CFBC, working steadily and successfully on his masters at seminary, and gave his first 'talk' (sermon?) at a home for the elderly this Sunday. We are so proud of him because we see him growing, maturing in ways that can only be God's hand in his life. He has good mentors around him who care about him and as a man of God, we respect where he is headed, what he is doing, and how much he loves the Lord. (John, also manages to give his mother a pep talk at the most crucial moments!)

Janet says 'amen'! How good is God to give her three sons who love the Lord.

John and Janet will be going on the Costa Rica Medical Mission trip next week!! Stay tuned.....

John was ordained on Wednesday. We were priviledged, his father, his grand mother and me to witness and be a part of it. I think my mother said it best. With tears in her eyes, she said, "It's really something to see Godly men, full of humility, on their knees, praying."

John began seminary at Southwest Theological this fall, and he is soon to be ordained.

If all goes well, Janet will go with him on a medical mission trip early winter. She feels blessed about that.

We, his family are supporting him with daily prayers for God's direction and strength and wisdom. God calls his ministers to a higher standard and we know that John's faith and God's grace is sufficient. We look forward to where God leads John.
