Implementing a stochastic element to BioplumeII, a software package
used to study groundwater contamination. (1995)
I worked with Lanie Hauschel,
a former statistics graduate student, to allow the Bioplume user
to introduce uncertainty into the groundwater model.
Our work was part of a larger project involving
Dr. Kathy
Ensor from the Department of Statistics, and
Dr. Hanadi Rifai and Dr. Loren Hopkins, both previously associated
with the
Department of Environmental Science and Engineering.
Studying and writing a technical report on the methods
used to handle
nondetects for statistical analysis in environmental studies.
